Each bag is handcrafted by artisans in Bali using Ata Grass, features cotton batik lining and is finished with premium leather handles.
Penyu Concept’s Rattan Bali Bags are woven by hand, then dried in the sun for several days, before being smoked over coconut husks to set, strengthen and colour the bags. Being handmade, each bag is wonderfully unique so you will never find an identical bag!
Where possible, we work directly with artisans who are paid fair wages. Your purchase makes a positive impact on the social and economic wellbeing of the artisans, their families and their communities.

NOTE:
When you receive your Ata Rattan Bali Bag from Penyu Concept, you may notice a toasty aroma. This aroma will fade over time. The aroma comes from the process of smoking the bag over coconut husks during production, and is the signature scent of an authentic Rattan Bali Bag. If you purchase a rattan bag and without this toasty aroma is present, the bag may be a knockoff that was painted brown to look authentic.

We offer free standard shipping for all orders over $149 AUD.
Orders totalling $149 AUD or less incur a flat shipping rate of $15 AUD (Australia Post Standard service) or $20 AUD (Australia Post Express service).

Orders are usually shipping within three business days (or a little longer during sale and promotional periods).
Once shipped, your order will typically arrive within 3-7 business days. Please note that AusPost are currently experiencing delays due to an unprecedented volume of parcels being sent. While some parcels are arriving next day, others are taking a little longer.
Parcels will be left at your address, but only if deemed safe by the delivery driver. If you require a signature upon delivery, please contact us.
